I am a founding member of Rutter Hobbs & Davidoff, a prestigious Century City firm of thirty business lawyers. After 37 years with that firm, I resigned from it in December 2010. I now focus on family law, particularly marital dissolution cases involving substantial estates and difficult business or property valuation problems. Although I am experienced in trying these matters, I actively seek amicable and expeditious resolution through mediation and negotiated settlements.
I have many decades of experience providing high quality, sophisticated litigation and pre-litigation support across a broad spectrum of legal disciplines. My dispute resolution expertise includes not only trials before judges and juries, but also before a wide range of alternative dispute resolution forums.
In my free time, I share my love of music with my wife, Terry Knowles, president of the Los Angeles Master Chorale Association. I have three adult children and three wonderful grandchildren.
